     Samatchai Chamnongkich, Ph.D., PT., is an associate professor in the Physical Therapy Program at Chiang Mai University, Chiang Mai, Thailand. He has been a chairman of the movement and exercise science program since 2015. He completed his PhD in Exercise Science at University of Georgia, USA.

     Dr. Chamnongkich is responsible to teaching and clinical supervisor in musculoskeletal physical therapy field. He also teaches several biomechanics courses for undergraduate and graduate students. Dr. Chamnongkich conducts research focused on basic and clinical aspects of human locomotion and sport biomechanics. The scope of his locomotion research includes the investigation of physical performance following orthopaedic surgery. His interest also lies in assessment and development of novel functional test for use in clinical settings.
