Sirinun Boripuntakul is a lecturer at the Department of Physical Therapy, Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, Chiang Mai University, Thailand, since 2013. She received her Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from Chiang Mai University in 2012. She teaches course content related to physical therapy management of older people both in clinical and community settings.
Boripuntakul is determined to teach, supervise, and mentor both undergraduate and graduate students. Her research interests follow two main themes:1) the assessment of gait and fall risk in older adults with and without cognitive impairment, and 2) the development of a low-cost markerless motion tracking device for detection of gait speed among older adults under various walking tasks.
